Meet the Team
Jason is the Director of Instruction and Golf Channel Academy Lead Coach at Manhattan Woods Golf Club in West Nyack, New York. Recognized by Golf Digest magazine as one of the 100 “Best Young Teachers in America”—a compilation of the top teachers under the age of 40—Jason was also recently named one of the “Best Teachers in Your State” by the magazine.
As a golf professional, Birnbaum spent the last nine seasons as a teaching professional at Alpine Country Club. He has experience working with all levels of golfers, including professionals on the PGA Tour, European PGA Tour and Web.Com Tour. Some of Jason’s past and present students include Jim McGovern, Oliver Wilson, Alexandre Rocha and Oscar Fraustro. Jason was the Director of the Mitchell Spearman Junior Golf Program from 2003-2007, where he oversaw the opening and operation of new junior facilities throughout the northeast, and beginning in 2008 Jason designed the Jason Birnbaum Junior Golf Camp, which attracts serious juniors from around the metropolitan area. Jason was recognized in 2012 and 2014 by U.S. Kid’s Golf as a “Top 50 Kids Teacher”. He currently owns and operates All Star Golf Camp, a sleepaway program located at the Seaview Resort in Galloway, N.J.
Jason’s teaching experiences have taken him around the world training all levels of golfers. Some of his corporate clients have included Mercedes Benz and Bank of America, among others. In recent years he has taught in Canada and abroad in Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, Australia and Colombia, and has been featured in a variety of national and local golf publications including Golf Digest, Golfweek, Met Golfer Magazine, New Jersey State Golf Association Magazine, and The Bergen Record. Jason has also been a guest on Sirius/XM PGA Tour radio and appeared as a guest instructor on Golf Channel’s Morning Drive talk show.
Vincent is the Junior Golf Camp Program Director at the Manhattan Woods Golf Academy. A New York native, Vincent studied PGA Golf Management at Florida Gulf Coast University. Soon after graduation, he began his professional teaching career, working at several clubs in both Florida and New York before making Manhattan Woods his full-time home in 2013. Vincent has experience working with all levels of golfers, with an emphasis on juniors, beginners and intermediate golfers.
